Sustainability Strategy – Materiality Assessment for Investors

Alibaba Group wishes to strengthen our Sustainability Strategy, with a focus on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics. To integrate sustainability into each aspect of Alibaba Group’s businesses, it is important for us to be aware of the material issues that are important for our diverse stakeholders and align them to our business priorities in order to improve stakeholders’ impacts.     

For this purpose, Alibaba Group is conducting a materiality assessment exercise to determine the key ESG issues we should focus on. As part of the materiality assessment, we are reaching out to you to understand the sustainability topics that you believe are important for Alibaba Group to focus on. Your perspective as a key stakeholder is critical in helping us determine the top areas to address as an organization. Your voice is important as we begin our sustainability journey together.     

We do not collect any information that can identify you personally unless you would like to provide your email address to us in Question 5 for further communication with us on ESG matters.      

Individual responses remain confidential and will only be used internally for planning purposes. Your responses will only be reported at an aggregate level. The questionnaire will take you about 5 to 15 minutes to complete it.
